Euphoria...
..is something else..
Let's just not talk about how I lost my SIM card at Sydney Airport.
And how every single flight I got on ran late.
And how my case was still in Frankfurt when I was in Berlin.
At least the seat next to me was free so I could use my bus tour experience to find the least uncomfortable position to lay down on the spot.
With an hour of delay I landed in my home town.
The trees have no more leaves. I freeze. I see grumpy, bored faces.
I have to bare 22 degress under Sydney temperature.
And the first thing I that catches my eye is big fat headlines.
"Lehrerin (31) gibt Schueler (13) Sex Unterricht"
(Teacher gives student sex classes)
"Inzest-Mutter muss vor Gericht"
(Incest-Mum faces court)
"Enthuellt: Yvonne Catterfelds heimlicher Liebhaber"
(Revealed: Y.C.'s secret lover)
"Schoener, schicker, schneller - der neue BWM wasweissich"
(Nicer, chicer faster - the new BMW whatsoever)
Well, if this is the newsthat rule the country today we are the happiest people in the world.
I still try to figure out the actual difference of schoen and schick.
Needless to say what paper I am talking about.
That lady in front of me had to deal with pure drama, poor her. I didn't even have to lean forward to catch the words, they are spread on half of the page anyway.
This really made me sick.
It's real hard to switch back to German, I am constantly close to chat people up in a wrong language. And I nearly hailed the bus driver. It's all deeply embodied.
And I wait for my "I-am-to-stupid-to-drive-on-the-correct-side of-the-road-accident".Well, as soon as I got my bike out.
However I have to say being home nearly feels like I have been away for two or so weeks.
I dont know if this is good or bad. I hope I don't get integrated into business as usual too fast.
