Farewell Syd
This was my last day at the actual Schering site.
Cannot believe how fast time's gone by.
Had a nice little farewell-gettogether, brought some German stuff in,
Bouletten (YES, self-made!), Haribo, Saure Gurken, Lebkuchen and stuff ( ALDI rocks!!)
The people have been very sweet and I hate to have seen many of them for the last time.
I learnt so much within such short time.
Probably most importantly, that in a rather small company you can actually feel the impact of what you do. That's crucial to me.
Sydney is being so kind to me. It's all bad weather, just to make me feel better about leaving.
I am looking forward to going to the north, but for some reason there is that big fat thing in my throat that I just cannot swallow. I won't have much free time when I get back for the World Congress, so I guess, that's it about Sydney. There'd be so much more to discover.
My boss who's been here for nearly two years now, just told me how he still discovers new places all the time...
I will always love that City!
